3D Laser

When I was exploring different technology ideas, I feel I want to try using the laser scanner to try to put existed objects into 3D world such as Maya. 

Here is my laser scanner experiments of a Halo Reach action figure Spartan.

The Reason why is not properly scanned because it all depends on the laser lens and the time process. I been told the laser lens was about 1mm to scan for about 30mins. However, I might not go more further into 3D laser because the amount of time it takes to scan.

123D Catch Experiment

Intro

I been using my photography skills to take interesting photos, and I was thinking if I can make photos as a 3D puzzle. The programs I will be using is 123D Catch to import photos, and automatically transform into 3D objects. Also using After Effects as back to export or convert video files.

The Squirrel Statue 3D Test

I went to Beckenham Park to take my puppy for walk to take photos of the woods, however when I was walking along the golf course I saw a Squirrel statue, and I decided it to take photos around the statue.

There were some problems when using 123D Catch is that because each photo has different or same lighting to match the colours to each other in order to make it as a simple puzzle.

North Greenwich 3D Test

I was on the Emirates Airline cable cart to take photos of North Greenwich to make the place in 3D by going high up to take different sides of the area.

Spitfire Former Biggen Hill Airbase 3D Test

When I was in a car with my dad, while he was driving I decided to use film camera to record perspective scenery view of a spitfire display.

Since I been taking photo's of objects, I like to try take photos of my puppy, and turn him into 3D puppy as experiment when modelling animals for animation
